Out With the Old!
A complete home remodel and renovation! We started with a 1980’s single story home that was chopped up and had a horrible floorplan. The rooms were small, the bathrooms were cramped. the laundry room was larger than the guest bathroom. What did we do?
OPEN FLOOR PLAN REDESIGN
We blew out the walls and combined the kitchen, family room and dining room to make a grand space with the kitchen and fireplace as the focal point! It’s open and modern and was a game changer for this home.
CHANGE THE ANGLE
The back porch had a ‘moon’ roof. We enclosed the moon roof, equalized the slab, added a glass wall and sliding patio door! That small additional space gave us the ability to add an opening from the living room to the kitchen. Wow!
BEDS & BATHS
We blew out a closet to make a huge bedroom and halved the laundry to make a third bath. Amazing!

CASE STUDY
The Water Heater Conversion Project
The community was a 200 unit condominium complex built on a central boiler system. The boiler was failing, the pipes in the ground were failing and the people of the community were without hot water… What did we do?
FIRST ASSESSMENT
The initial assessment was bad. No way we could tear up all those pipes and replace them. We decided it would be best to add a water heater to every unit. They all had a laundry room… perfect!
COORDINATION
The assessment revealed that not only were the pipes in the ground bad, but so were the pipes in the walls. We were going to have to coordinate plumbers, electricians, permits and more!
THE WORK
The work involved demolition, replumbing the units, adding water heaters and meters. Beefing up the electrical capacity and drywall as far as the eye can see!
THE FINISH
In the end the job required coordinating mechanical subcontractors, drywall and paint crews and scheduling with homeowners and tenants while keeping everyone happy and finishing on time!
